This is , beyond a doubt , one of the most powerfully written stories i have ever read. The sign of a good story in my eyes is if it can make you feel the same emotions as the characters feel in the story. if when they laugh , you laugh . and if when they cry , you cry. The final few chapters of this breathtaking story did that and more. Many thanks to the author for this incredible read.

The sensitivity of Legolas to the world around him, nature as well as the darkness, is amazing. I like what Legolas says, “Darkness haunts my dreams, rest does not seek me there". Keep up the good work.

Author's Response:

thankyou *smile*

This does not look good for the ranger. Poor horse.

Author's Response: I nearly feel sorry for any horse in my stories...several times they haven't survived the story...good thing I don't use real ones

I can tell this journey is going to be an action-packed one.

Author's Response: not sure about 'action'...but definately danger *smile*

Good introduction to the story. You give enough mystery to keep the reader’s attention.

Author's Response: *smile* glad you like that.

I just love how devoted Legolas and Aragorn are to each other...their friendship transcends the comnon for sure...

Lovely beginning.

Author's Response:

thankyou, I'm glad you like the way I portray their friendship.

I just finished posting the sequel to this story, called Echo of the Night.
