Oh yeah!  ' "Light can shine through darkness and shadows, but darkness cannot enter into light." '  That's right!!  You tell him, Legolas!  This is another good example of the self-doubt that seemed to plague Aragorn for most of his adult life.  I recognize this little moment from the movie - I think Legolas had the right idea of sending Aragorn off to meet Arwen for a little smooching on that lovely bridge in all that soft, misty moonlight!  LOL  Seriously, this friendship is so strong - I am glad Legolas can read his human friend so well!  And Aragorn will eventually begin to believe that whatever comes, he will not face it alone.  Great storylet, Tinu!

Author's Response:

Isn't it strange that only the really good people tend to be plagued by self-doubt? Aragorn is not only a good man, he also has an intimidating responsibility, so I guess he's entitled to having lots of self-doubts. ;-) It's quite obvious that this guy needs a good friend to hammer some sense into his head from time to time. *g* I like the idea of Legolas sending Aragorn off to meet Arwen. ;-) I think if Aragorn would try to face any upcoming dangers alone, Legolas would probably be the first to kill him. LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed my gapfiller! Thank you very much for another review! :)
