Big brother Legolas is very appealing, Tinu!  And Estel, with his eyes older than his young years was very sad!  I loved the beginning, where Legolas wakes to hear the song and knows that the trees are rejoicing in the much needed water (and the thought that the Prince of the Realm usually made his way outside to sing with the trees was wonderfully elvish!)  I'm so glad Estel had his friend to stand by him when the memories became too much for him.

Author's Response:

Wouldn't you love to have Legolas as a big brother? It would be SO nice to be little Estel... or Estel, where this story is concerned. *g* I think Estel really has been through a lot already, for his age. I really enjoyed writing the beginning, Legolas' connection with nature always fascinates me. I think Estel was very glad, too, thought he tried so hard to be brave. *huggles soon-to-be-ranger and elf* Your reviews are really uplifting, you know? :) Thank you very much for leaving me lots of these wonderful, sweet little reviews, lol!

Tinu (hm - do you think I could dump the disclaimer then? In that case I might try... Hehe.)
