Just a side note, in reply to one of the previous comments; "Aig" means ice, or icicle. Which is very neat name, "Ice Fire"! and it is cool that you put that together on accident.

Pentagale, I have been re-reading your stories and I find that I enjoys them just as much now, if not more, than I did 5 years ago. Well done!!

Dear Pentangle,

thank you very much for this story, it is one of three fanfictions that stuck in my mind. I am rereading it and love it still, after more than a year. Thank you!

Cool! if you know that through experience, where do you live? Not to be nosy or any thing.

I like how yoyr story was humerus and profound at the same time. To the mark of real skill is when those to elements can be combined seamlessly and so tthey are complimentay to each other. That makes it a truely beautiful story.

Author's Response:

I am so sorry to be so late answering such a kind review! RL is a pain sometimes! You have probably forgotten, but the review was for "Five Words in Winder". It started as just a 'beginning point' for my Young Estel stories but quickly became a real story in its own right. I don't think I can write a story with *no* humor at all, yet I'm not very good at funny stories - weird, huh?

I live in northern Indiana, almost to Lake Michigan, but in the country. At 5 am (when I feed the animals in the barn) it can be much below -32 degrees C. (or 0 in F.) So I do know through experience!

Thank you again!

Never let it be said! It shall not be uttered upon my lips! But the story... the story? Is it just a story of fiction? You amazing me. Completely, fully, wholly, and thoroughly. You have dug out the very center of my soul and dusted off everything once hidden. Whatever you say, I shall take as fact. If you say Elves' grips can fail by cold, then it is so! If Aignor (tehehehehe, I love your humour to death) says Legolas should follow a Man named Fluffy or Manny, then Aignor so thought it. I wish to cry, I wish to laugh. "Legolas fell out of the tree." It is beautiful. May I please, please, please, please make references to your stories (directly and indirectly) in my own? I take your stories as seriously as I do Tolkien's, and I wish for everyone to know you.

Elemmire Star-Sheen

(I love Aignor... what does his name mean? "Nor" means fire, aye, but "Aig"? I would love to have him in one of my own stories, because you make him such a fun character... "tap-tap-tap")

Author's Response:

At last I am home and can respond decently. You may have Aignor with my blessing - I grew rather fond of him but can't use him very much. Sadly, I picked his name by sound, not by meaning, so I doubt it means anything at all.

You are much too kind in your praise but I find I am egotistical enough to enjoy it. Thank you for your kind words, yet again.
