Suilad! I'm Michelle, the co-admin of this archive. I've been a fanfiction addict for a few years now (and I have the glasses to prove it), ever since I was active in the BtVS fandom. From there I proceeded right to LOTR where Aragorn is my favourite, followed by Eowyn and the occasional wizard.

I read a lot of genres, mainly h/c, angst and slash, but I like to throw in a comedy now and then. I love tales of epic proportions, good character interaction and a touch of irony. I prefer Aragorn to Legolas, brunettes to blondes and swords to arrows. Who would have thought *g*.

All my stories (including the crossovers, the non-angsty stories and the slash) are up on my Skyehawke Account. If you want an easy way to stay updated with my fiction (all of it), visit my website for newsletter or twitter updates.

Listened to it today and loved it (again - though, listening and reading are two different things, so it was basically exploring this story anew). I could basically hear how much fun you had:)

And "hearing" Aragorn and Legolas argue was even more entertaining than just reading about it. I was chuckling for most of the 45 minutes.

A simple rescue mission, that for once, goes off without a hitch.  This story won 1st Place in the Teitho Challenge Good & Evil.

I listened to this today (FINALLY got around to it!) and absolutely loved it - again especially all the sound effects that made me feel like I was in the middle of the action. And since there's a lot of action in that story that was a lot of fun:) If I wasn't already in love with the concept of podfic, you would definitely convince me!

From the Midlands by Trinkadawn [3 Reviews]
To borrow a few lines from the great W. Shakespeare (Hamlet): “To die, to sleep; to sleep perchance to dream. Ai! There’s the rub. For who can say in that sleep of death what dreams my come?” But is this really a dream? Or is this a nightmare?

One of my alltime favourites! And not only because I'm a horror fan and this is a classic theme for horror stories. The POV makes this story incredibly creepy and the end is just disturbing...

Oh, somehow I missed this when it was posted on MC. Poor Legolas, being out in a storm like this! However, this practically screams for a sequel - they still have to get down the mountain. A lot could happen. And Estel is way too uninjured; that's not normal:)

What Lies Within by Lily Frost [4 Reviews]
A darkness older than anyone can remember has awoken in the gloom of Mirkwood, hungry for blood and vengeance. From the shadows it targets the Prince Legolas and his friends. Soon this evil has wormed its way into their kin, and it looks as if this battle may prove harder than any they have ever fought before. (complete)

Oh! Vampires! Means that I have to love that story by default:) I'm a big vampire fan and I think you have blended the modern and ME vampire pretty well. I especially like the wings. Makes for an impressive picture!

Destiny Fulfilled : Destiny Part One by AussieRo [1 Reviews]
This is the first in my Destiny Fulfuilled Series. This is my take on how Aragorn & Legolas met. It's a story of anger, betrayal and when Destiny should be left alone and when Destiny shoule be given a little nudge. This first part is all back story for events that follow in part 2 Aragorn is not metioned and Legolas is an infant. Galadriel is involved as are three orginal characters

I had read your story for the Teitho contest and thought to myself that there was much backstory to it. I'm glad to find that it was actually part of a larger story idea. I'm curious to know how this triumvirate works and whether relations between Rivendell and Mirkwood will go back to normal. Proceeding to Part 2:)

Author's Response: Michelle, Sorry this has taken so long. I've only just found this reply place. There will be a further add on to this story soon, real soon Thank- you for reading this one and I hope you enjoy the next one.

*awwwww* That was so sweet. I love little Estel-stories, even if he's sick:) He's always got it bad, poor thing. I remember I had much fun when I had pneumonia as a child.

Taldrin by Aragornwriter [2 Reviews]
Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas miss the good old days of hunting and travelling. And so they decide to do something about it. But then, of course, not everything goes as planned. Hungry, hurt and who knows what else. Anything could happen in those woods. Orcs may have left, but there is still plenty to come around.

*awwwww* The ending was so sweet! And the meeting of Thranduil and Lainfea, priceless! And even though it had a lot of action, I liked the emotional, psychological stuff best. Very strong writing! I'm very much looking forward to the sequel now! I predict a lot of emotional angst ahead:)

That was beautiful! Terribly sad, too, of course, but you really have a way with words. The "innocence falling away into shadow" is a very strong image, wow... I'll head over to the admin menu and add Arathorn as a character. I've no idea why I didn't think of this before *slaps self*. I hope to read more from you soon!!

Here be monsters by Aragornwriter [3 Reviews]
First of all a bit of a warning: This is the first part of a strange fic, and something you’re not used to from me. ;) Why? Because 'Here be monsters' is a short story based on a challenge offered by Alinah on the Aragorn Angst mailing list. The assignment was: Write a short dream sequence in which Aragorn remembers an especially dire situation. It can be very short, it can be long, it can feel like a one-shot or like part of a longer fic - anything goes! Disclaimer: Tolkien invented Lord of the Rings. I earn no money with this fic. This story was also written for Frederique on the MC-list (yes, I’m combining two assignments at the same time ;)), because she gave me the name for our new cat, Sukie. As a reward, I promised her a comedy, and thus, a comedy it is. Story: On a cold winter’s day, Lord Elrond asks Aragorn’s help for some Rivendell-renovations. That is the last thing he should have done. The human can find trouble anywhere and anything …. including hidden monsters on attics. This story is Aragorn POV.

Hilarious! How do you come up with these totally absurd situations for poor Aragorn - okay, I could make a pretty good guess, but REALLY *g*. And he should know that most accidents happen at home, so he can be lucky he only broke his ankle and didn't fall off the roof entirely:) This should evolve into a series of stories under the title "Things we never thought we would see Aragorn do", it could become a classic!
