I am a 50 year old woman from Canada with an enduring love of all things LOTR but particularly Faramir and Gondor. I am a research scientist in geology by day which keeps me on the road alot (planes are great for writing) and have a wonderful husband and teeenage son who are both bemused by my hobby. I love fantasy and mysteries, poetry, travelling, the spare beauty of the tundra and skiing. Outside of Middle-Earth I am a fan of Darkover, Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern and Ellen Kushner's Swordspoint work
